What are nasal tumours?
Nasal tumours are abnormal growths that occur in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses. Some of the most common symptoms include nasal obstructions, persistent congestion, chronic sinus infections, pain, nose bleeds or lumps in the nose and neck.
How can it be treated?
Treatment of nasal tumours depends on the severity of the condition. Surgery may be an option, in which case the tumour can be removed with an endoscopic procedure through the nose. Radiotherapy or chemotherapy may also be recommended in order to destroy any remaining parts of the tumour.
